CLUB. READY. SCORCHER.

This track is 100%, unadulterated pure fire. I’ve got a few of Jack Beats‘ older stuff. And a lot of it, I passed off as some out of control, blog house B.S. This video contains audio from the part of Annie Mac’s DJ set wherein she drops this Jack Beats’ remix of Big Boi’s “Shutterbug,” at BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix live at Glastonbury a few weeks ago. Jack Beats are made up of two British dudes, Beni G and Niall. But the clock is ticking for this remix to get out…somehow, somewhere. I would make it a point to cop this on iTunes if it ever does come out officially. This track is kind of a wet dream for DJs, and I can’t wait until I can hear it on a good system somewhere around town…that is, if it ever is released.

!!!SUSPENSE!!!

These four emerging producers in the Kansas City area will be featured on the new Demencha. While waiting for last minute content to come in, I decided to take some audio (mp3) snippets of the interviews I did with each of them and put them up here for you guys to hear. Most of these audio quotes will not appear in the producers’ respective articles, so consider these quotes as some bonus material. The summer 2010 Demencha Magazine will be out very soon.

In DR+’s snippet, he talks about why his music is influenced more by paintings and visual artwork than by him simply listening to other people’s music.

Norrit’s snippet details why he uses Fruity Loops, and cites how this production program caused one of the biggest “booms” in recent British dance music.

In Church Boi’s snippet, he talks about how he got into making music and the era/style that influenced him most.

B-Stee’s snippet has him trying to clear up the style of “club music” that he specializes in.

The 4th is my favorite holiday. Still not sure what my personal plans are, but if you’re looking to get into some dance music this will be your spot. TRUST. Jimmy C is headed up from Springfield, I believe. I just friended LC on facebook after I thrashed his umove mixtape here at the Headquarters for a few days while putting together this new issue. Good stuff.

Grab that over @ http://www.umove.net/index.php/podcast/post/mixtape_035/
