I’m not sure what the Conspiracy Room is, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been there before.

Just got an e-mail from Chrissy Murderbot up in Chicago. While remaining one of the dopest DJs to ever walk KC, in my mind, he moved to Chicago about a year or two ago to pursue his label – Sleazetone. Chris is doing big, big things in Chicago, including a recent gig in which he opened up for DJ Slugo and Egyptrixx. His self-titled album will see a release date sometime in September, we’re told, and here’s one of the heaters off that record, featuring…Miles Bonny…over jungle(?) I originally heard this song on the INnatesounds Crew 2009 Sampler (which is amazing, in itself) but didn’t make the connection that Miles was working with Murderbot until I got this new Murderbot album in my e-mail inbox, which contains the same song.

2000F (J Kamata not pictured)

I found this track on DJ Anonymous’ top ten chart for March. I urge all of you to check that out. This is a a beautiful dubstep track by two Danish dudes – 2000F and J Kamata called “You Don’t Know What Love Is.” This was released on vinyl in January, I believe, don’t quote me on that – on the Hyperdubs label which has apparently been putting out a steady flow of dubsteppity goodness for about five years.

I am loving this track right now!

Also, add 2000F and J Kamata to your myspace friends. Their page is loaded with good tracks, particularly J Kamata’s. And please, please, please – if any Lotus Camp dudes are reading this, please bring these guys through to KC soon!!!
