In addition to the Sucka Free Producers Showcase cracking off tonight at recordBar, there are at least three other DJ/dance options in the ‘Port which could serve as your late night destinations. (The producers showcase is apparently wrapping up around 1:00 or 1:15). Below, we’ve got three parties which will all be gwan down until 3 a.m. We’re not sure if any of the following venues have their heated patios situated just yet (burr!), but even if they don’t, that’s what body heat was made for. Also, before I forget, all three of these events are FREE and 21+.
1. “Get Low” w/ LC and Avant Garde @ Gusto Lounge /// These two spinners will probably end up playing dance music found more in the deep end of the EDM pool. If you’re into slick, classy house, techno and disco-infused tunes with fading and mixing approached as intensely as their track selection, this is for you. 2. DJ Mahf (STL) @ The Union /// St. Louis-residing DJ Mahf, will be playing tonight in Westport tonight as well as part of a mini Midwest DJ tour he’s hitting the road with. 3. Think 2Wice Thursdays w/ Brent Tactic @ Riot Room /// Think 2Wice is an Army, better yet a Navy… Well, not tonight. To round out the trifecta of party tunes tonight in Westport, last but surely not least is Brent Tactic holding down the Riot Room’s patio once again for Think 2Wice Thursdays. He usually has some key compadres from his Think 2Wice label helping him out. But tonight, it’ll be all Brent Tactic all night on the partio. Expect new and relevant sounds spewing through Riot Room’s newly-installed sound-system, and a smorgasbord of hot club genres that we’re not going to even try to forecast.
