As EIC over here at Demencha, we’d like to thank The Pitch and the readers who voted us the second best music blog in Kansas City, right behind the Pitch’s own “Wayward Blog”. We didn’t campaign for the accolade whatsoever, (okay, so I did vote for us once), so we’re not sure who voted us in, but massive thanks once again to everyone involved. However, there was a minor hitch in all of this – The Pitch spelled our name wrong. They had it “D-e-m-e-n-t-i-a”, which is why I went ahead and made a little correction for the above image. At my own request last week, The Pitch did change the spelling in the online version of their annual “Best Of” issue for 2012. You can see the full list HERE at the Pitch’s own website.
