What came first? The altered song titles for “Trapped In The Elevator” or the idea for basically trapping out Outkast’s “Elevators” instrumental. Beyond that, offering three versions (two of which feature Juicy J raps and Cutty Ranks vocals, respectively) for free on soundcloud make for the most useful, effective and delightful remixes aimed at hip hop DJs that we’ve heard in a while. If you don’t agree, head over to Mike B’s soundcloud page where you are sure to find some kind of gold. His latest mix for Black Banditz is great, one of the most well-rounded DJ mixes I’ve personally heard all year. He was actually voted Los Angeles Magazine’s “Best Club DJ” for 2011, an award we’re sure is raised above a fierce competitive field. Fuck the jibber-jabber. It’s been a really long day, I need to get some sleep and you need to download these tracks now.
