With Joc Max and DJ Maxx back at Riot Room once again this month, we doubt much will change about this party on Saturday night as opposed to previous months. (If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it). That phrase could easily be plastered as the theme for their parties, seeing as how the classic dance music they mix up has made them one of Westport’s favorite DJ duos. For those who’ve never seen Joc Max (gasp!) or DJ Maxx spin, they keep the groove rolling for just about five hours between the two of them, and play an assortment of funk and disco-infused jams that will leave your calves sore and your t-shirt soaked. For some it’s just a default Saturday night party, but others anxiously await each time they spin. But the drinks will stay flowing while the feet stay shuffling whether you’re there or not. There’s no need to buy a ticket, just bring your best moves.
