If you haven’t met “the Flying Lotus of KC” yet, meet DRplus2. While we’ve been keen on the 20 year-old producer (21 yet?) for more than a couple of years, we suggest you get out to the Record Bar in Westport on Thursday, October 4th for the “Sucka Free” producers showcase featuring DRplus2 himself alongside some of KC’s more reputable bass makers. But this track we’re noting today was apparently laced up a number of years ago, and included verses from Kansas City MCs, SwayzorBlades and Vertigone (of The Guild). Let’s fly young’ins…
