D/L: Adina Howard – “Freak Like Me” [MaddJazz Remix]

Chicago-based, MaddJazz, of Ghetto Division party rocking fame, is perhaps best known for a style which incorporates a lot of Latin-infused B’more, juke among other reaches of club beats. His “Spanish Juke” track from a couple (or several?) years ago is definitely one of my prized ghetto bass mp3 possessions. His latest track uploaded to soundcloud challenges the monstrous 90’s r&b smash, “Freak Like Me”, by Adina Howard only to see MaddJazz pretty much destroy any r&b sentiments of the original. Howard’s big voice lends itself perfectly to something like this, a style of music that makes me a bit nostalgic for 2007. It is a pretty wild track. But that’s what MaddJazz does, and with authority.
