Several months ago, I went to a record sale in a tiny garage in Waldo, and that was probably the last time I went digging for vinyl. According to a press release that popped up in my inbox a few days ago, the same organizers (Mark Prellberg and Tom Sorrells) of that record sale have now taken their 3rd annual fall vinyl sale to the fitting Record Bar in Westport. As I’m writing this, you’ve only got about three hours to make it up to Record Bar, and the importance of time regarding this sale is magnified. There are 10,000 records up there right now. The post-record-digging hangover consists of sneezing, dusty nostrils and a sore back. Thank goodness tomorrow is only Sunday.
