Tonight at Czar (15th & Grand), an army of hip hop artists will descend upon the coveted venue located just south of Power & Light, just north of the Crossroads for the latest local rap showcase known as “War On Czar Bar”. Organized by Kool Wayne of KKFI 90.1′s “The Wire” (the longest running rap/hip hop radio show on KC’s airwaves, by far), this one’s definitely gonna bring some heads out. The Popper and Paul Mussan, two of the KC scene’s real vets, are probably the most recognizable acts on the bill. Expect this show to host a real who’s who of the local rap arena.
