Local Music Throwback Uploads Coming Soon to Demencha?

As EIC at this here Demencha Magazine site, I find it to be about 11:20 p.m. and I still don’t have any kind of content for our readers yet today. Most of that issue is due to the fact that I’ve been distracted by spending a good portion of this weekend going through my entire CD collection (a’choo!). It’s reinforced my passion for local music in a weird way, and took me on a blast through the past scouring through CDs (local and non) that I’ve amassed over the years. I discovered that I have a very healthy collection of local hip hop hard copies, specifically, and I would like to upload some of the albums/songs to mp3 format for the world to hear, and for Kansas City to reminisce over. I’d definitely have to get permission from the artists on a case-by-case basis, but I think it could be a really cool concept, and maybe set off our brand new mixcloud page under the Demencha umbrella as well. I’m open to suggestions and feedback on this one, as always. Hope everyone out there has a good week.

Hi. I have tons of recordings of me and random muscians when we were all too busy to play out. When we did play out, we went by like 5 different names. Im Jason from the project Vor Onus. This music I have is like a mix of butthole surfers, melvins, dicks,DNA,No wave genre in general and punk…..oddly enough underling Grateful Dead jam outs with random influences. KC people should hear some of this I feel. The drummer was an animal. If you want some of these let me know!
