It’s not everyday that one of the UK’s chief remixers makes a stop in our greater Lawrence/KC area. But on Tuesday, July 31st, Star Slinger (Manchester, Britain) is dropping in on what is guaranteed to be an eager crowd at the Granada in Lawrence to unleash his shimmering beats and bassy takes on pop and indie hits. Having a surprisingly solid grip on American music, both new and old, is what separates Star Slinger from many others in his field. Whether he’s turning out remixes of Rihanna, Buraka Som Sistema, Juicy J or Reggie B tracks, Star Slinger’s sound has been felt around the globe and his ascension to the international music scene over the past 2 years or so is undeniable.
If you enjoy bassy dance music as much as we do at Demencha, you’ll surely want to attend Star Slinger’s show with the LOL Boys live at the Granada on July 31. And it just so happens that we have two pairs of tickets to give away! Trust us, it’s gonna be a party, but here are the details as to how you can go about scoring free entry to the Granada for the show..
Contestants can enter the random drawing by following four easy steps:

That’s it! Two winners will be picked at random and notified via a direct facebook message from “Chris Demencha Milbourn” on Monday, July 30th. Each of the two winners will have their first and last names added to the guestlist for Star Slinger & LOL Boys at the Granada on Tuesday, July 31st. The winners will each have a “plus 1″, in other words, a guest you can bring with you free also.
