The growing legend that is Lawrence’s Team Bear Club crew continues to grow online and in the flesh, with the collective drawing a self-reported 200+ party goers every Thursday night at the Bottleneck in Lawrence for the past two months. What’s shaping up to be LK’s most fun regular dance night since Neon is also gradually swelling my own regrets for having never gone to a Goombarave before. That’s gotta change. You may remember a Featured Artist of the Month entry we posted back in January on TBC DJ/producer, MORRI$. He and his goomba goons have some really killer events for the near future, including a back-to-school party with out of town guest acts, Riff Raff and Kreayshawn affiliate, Lil Debbie for $10 at the door. KC/Lawrence locals, Maal a Goomba, DJ G-Train and Tyga Style will be opening things up in celebration of Maal A Goomba’s upcoming “Easy Money EP”, which Team Bear Club are set to release with full distribution in September.
