Kansas City’s own often imitated, but never duplicated, Nug Life apparel brand, has seen thousands of their shirts being sported by everyday folk in the KC streets to actors, comedians and musicians on youtube. The Nug Life brand’s founding member, Brian Scott (aka DJ Clockwerk), is now grabbing Nug Life by the horns and their official launch party is Tuesday, July 17 at the Steel Gallery in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. Their official website is now live with a lot of apparel and gear for sale already (nuglifeworld.com). At the Steel Gallery on the 17th, expect performances from Empty Spaces, DJ Clockwerk, stand up comedians, a lot of beer and a 10′ half-pipe for the skaters. It’s been a long time coming, but Nug Life’s official launch should unfold as a celebration and a new beginning. Be sure to bring a friend.
