Kansas City Boos Robinson Cano @ Home Run Derby 2012

Who cares?  If these had been Yankees or Phillies fans, I’m sure the pundits would’ve passed it off as the typically fiesty New York or Philly crowds.  For an ESPN commentator to insist on national television that we’re supposed to act a certain way because we’re located in the Midwest is ludicrous.  Robinson Cano was going to be booed last night, regardless of whether or not the 810 WHB guys went a little bit too far with their plane-towed sign (see the picture above).  Out-of-towners have to remember that Kansas City Chiefs fans are known for booing too, even though it’s usually against our own team after a couple of three-and-outs to start a game at Arrowhead.  I’m done here, go Royals!  And good luck to Billy Butler tonight in the All-Star Game.
