FEATURED ARTIST OF THE MONTH: Reggie B & The Solution [July 2012]

With recent collaborations alongside the likes of Diplo, Star Slinger, Onra and others within recent months, and upcoming projects with even more such as New York rap God, Rakim, DJ Spinna and more, Reggie B’s voice, production and instrumentation have been felt and heard around the world. Backed by a five piece band, not including himself on keys and vocals, Reggie B has assembled a band in The Solution that all have very rich musical backgrounds. Guitarist, Kevin Pierce, for example, has played with or written songs for acts such as Barry White, Sounds of Blackness, Grand Jury and Lo Key among others. All in all, Reggie B & The Solution may offer upwards of a century’s worth of musical experience when they’re throwing down their growingly infamous and vicious foray of future soul and funk.

While the total six members of Reggie B & The Solution are all from the Kansas City area, they all recognize that Reggie B has a sound that the world needs to hear and are down for his cause, one of rising above the “ear pollution” on the charts in 2012.
