Sleigh Bells are equal parts cheerleader and dirty, nasty, loud metal. It’s fun time music with a simple formula, and as 2010’s “Rill Rill” proves, they’ve got a knack for the feel good pop song as well. The Brooklyn duo is made up of Derek Edward Miller and Alexis Krauss. Miller handles the shredding, screeching guitar, while Krauss sprinkles vocals on top. It’s a contrast that brings a dynamic aspect to their music and real energy to any room they play in.
Speaking of rooms they play in, Sleigh Bells are coming to our very own Beaumont Club on July 12th. Here’s a smattering of wonderfully rambunctious clips so as that you may familiarize yourself with what you’ll be missing if you decide you’d rather go see a movie on the 12th.
