First and foremost, shout out to Gee Watts himself, Soul M.U.T.T. over at We Run KC and DJ Shad for helping put this mixtape together. I initially approached Gee Watts about doing a project presented through We Run KC and Demencha Magazine just a couple of months ago. Frankly, I’m rather surprised by how quickly this project came together, particularly after Shad, Soul M.U.T.T. and I bombarded Gee with instrumentals. “Boo-koo” instrumentals, as Gee described. In the opening credits, Soul M.U.T.T. hit the nail on the head when he mentioned that this isn’t your “average mixtape”. Gee’s got some shit to say and we wouldn’t have it any other way with our mag attached to it. There’s more mixtape ideas where this came from, trust.

To all parties involved, nice work with this one. Chris, I am starting to see why you are so high on this dude after giving this tape a couple turns. Good looking on the inclusion of the “Pain” instrumental, I always loved that beat.

Thanks man! When are you gonna start writing for Demencha again? Do you still have the same #?
