I didn’t even know this video existed. This track came out on Radio Retaliation a couple of years ago.

GREAT. SONG.

I kinda think it’s not fair that they’re allowed to have one guy playing a beat, and one guy scratching. But I do think that these guys have gotten a shit ton better at DJing and producing beats since I started following them in ‘05 or ‘06 at the Peanut downtown. Congrats dudes!

The big homie, Big Dope P out of Paris, sent us yet another gang of hot hot hot dance tracks. As with some of his other tracks he’s sent us in the past, here he’s keeping the electro/juke thing in tact. He sent us two tracks to blog off this various artists-type record, one being Emmanuelle’s “What A Booty,” and Dope P’s own “Kazfara Juke.” The Cheerz, DJ Rashad, The Disco Villains, Traxman, DJ Hilti, Kill Frenzy, Beus Bengal and GTO all make appearances on this record, culminating in just some more typical hot shit from the Movelt Posse camp. It’s always a privalege to get new music from these guys.

Before you download these new goodies, be sure to check out previous posts we’ve done on Big Dope P over the past year or two, where some of his older tracks are included…

Kansas City hip hop artist, Louis Rip, will be hosting the evening’s festivities. This will be an extraordinarily-dope event than what we normally post up here. Mostly because KC legend DJ Just will be partaking on the turntables alongside DJ SKU, Brent Tactic and Jamel Rockwell. These are four of the better DJs KC has to offer, all under one roof. I’m not sure if Just and SKU have ever spun together, so this should be highly interesting. I think I’m actually gonna dig up this Dungeon Family compilation vinyl set that I have somewhere and bump it right now. See you there!

What do you get when you combine a live band with some of Kansas City’s freestyle rap extraordinaires? Apparently, one of the most legendary improvised shows KC has ever seen. Don’t listen to me though, I missed out on this event. But everyone was raving about it the next day. WATCH.
