Steddy P’s new album is serious. And we’re not just saying that because he shouted out Demencha Magazine on the last song. We’ve been pumping his new record, Style Like Mind, since we got an exclusive zip file a few weeks ago, and I gotta say that it’s good enough to make all the fast-forward material on his last three records a blurry memory. His next show in KC will be on 9.11.09 at the Record Bar in Westport for his CD release party before he goes on tour. Steddy’s goal is to sell out the Record Bar, he says.

I’ll def be at the CD release! I’m really really excited for this album. I loved Dear Columbia! Will you be there? It is the same night as Tech N9ne in Lawrence though.
