Tonight, Demencha Magazine and DJ C-Vaughn (host of “Liquid Buzz” on 96.5 the Buzz, which airs every Saturday night) present what we’ll call the “Ghetto Buzz” radio hour which will air tonight from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The featured DJ that we’ve recruited for this second installment of the Demencha/Liquid Buzz collaboration is DJ Shad, who is no stranger to you if you’ve been checking this blog for the past few months. Shad chose to record two different 30-minute mixes for the show tonight, the first one being more on the house/techno/bmore side, featuring Cousin Cole’s remix of Bird Peterson’s “Twerk Central” which can be found on Bird’s Flamin Hotz release, The Computer Jams EP. The second one is basically a strictly juke/ghetto house mix featuring a number of Dance Mania classics. The tracklistings and download links for both 30-minute mixes can be found below. In the meantime, Shad has started a brand new DJ night on Tuesdays at Karma in Westport (KC).
